Cycling Without Age Lanark County is pleased to announce that Topps Environmental Solutions (TES) has joined several other community-minded businesses by showing how much they care about the eldest citizens in Lanark County.
The generous financial donation from TES brings us a big step closer to purchasing our first trishaw, a special electrically-assisted bicycle designed to allow volunteers called pilots to take the elderly for a bike ride once pandemic restrictions are lifted.
Our elderly have been through a lot with pandemic outbreaks and social isolation. Let’s show them we care. The friendships and health benefits experienced while experiencing a trishaw ride have been life-changing for many.
